Join the Transnational Literature Series at Brookline Booksmith for an in-store event with translator Jenna Tang to discuss and celebrate the release of Fang Si-Chi's First Love Paradise by Lin Yi-Han. She will be in conversation with writer Grace Talusan.

Moderator Grace Talusan teaches in the Nonfiction Writing Program at Brown University. Her memoir, The Body Papers, won the Restless Books Prize for New Immigrant Writing and the Massachusetts Book Award in Nonfiction. She earned an MFA from the University of California, Irvine and has taught at the University of Oregon, Tufts University, and Brandeis University, and for summer conferences such as the Kenyon Review Writers Week and Community of Writers. She has received support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Fulbright, US Artists, the Brother Thomas Fund, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and residencies such as MASS MoCA, Vermont Studio Center, and Hedgebrook. She is on the board of the National Book Critics Circle.
